He graduated from a campus of the University of California and has spent over ten years conducting research, development, testing, and production in the fields of compound‑semiconductor optoelectronic integration and optoelectronic systems, with a primary focus on complex InP‑based optoelectronic integrated chips.
He previously worked at a leading company in the industry, where he developed a series of cutting-edge optoelectronic integrated chips. He has published more than 50 papers in premier journals and at major conferences in the semiconductor optoelectronics field, including OFC, ECOC, and CLEO, and serves as a reviewer for many prominent industry journals.
Dr. Chen Quanan
Senior Research and Development Engineer
Responsible for the research, development, and production of wide-range tunable lasers.
Graduated from the School of Optics at the Wuhan National Laboratory for Optoelectronics, Huazhong University of Science and Technology.
Recipient of the National Scholarship for Doctoral Students.
Primarily engaged in research on semiconductor lasers, with a specialized focus on indium phosphide‑based broadly tunable semiconductor lasers. Has published a total of 14 international academic papers, including 6 journal articles and 8 conference papers, and has been granted two patents related to semiconductor laser technology.
Professor Guo Weihua

Professor and doctoral supervisor at the Wuhan National Laboratory for Optoelectronics, Huazhong University of Science and Technology.
National-level expert
He earned his Ph.D. from the Institute of Semiconductors, Chinese Academy of Sciences, and previously served as a project scientist in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of California, Santa Barbara, as well as a research fellow in the Department of Physics at Trinity College, University of Dublin, Ireland. With 20 years of experience in novel semiconductor optoelectronic devices and large-scale semiconductor optoelectronic integration, he has published over 100 academic papers, holds seven granted patents, and has ten additional patents pending; he also boasts a strong track record in entrepreneurship.
